Zoey Moment #6 and #7

Standard

Little moments I don’t want to ever forget…..

Last night, Greg was in the kitchen working on filling the dishwasher (isn’t he the BEST?) and Zoey wandered out there from where I was in the living room to help him. And this is what I heard, “No, don’t put the remote in the dishwasher, Honey.” That pretty much sums up life at our house.

When it was time to put Zoey to bed, Greg (like he does every night) carried her upstairs and I headed to her room to get her a pair of pajamas and fresh diaper and a binky. When I got to Greg’s and my bedroom, I almost ran into Greg and Zoey in the doorway. Greg was holding Zoey and she was laying on her stomach in his arms with her hands underneath her chin. This is what Greg said: “Excuse me, Mommy, Baby’s got to fly.” I got out of the way and Greg proceeded to fly Zoey around the entire upstairs portion of our house while I got everything ready for bedtime. I could hear Zoey’s giggles the entire time.

I just adore both of them.

About cdhoose

I'm a mom to an amazing little girl and have another little one on the way. I live in Upstate New York with my fiance and daughter, 2 big, crazy dogs and a 3-legged cat (who has an attitude). I hate know-it-alls, Lindsay Lohan and socks with holes in them. I always seem to get myself into trouble (which entertains my fiance to no end), but I try hard to be a good parent. Also, I occasionally work on scrapbooking the fifty billion pictures I've taken of my kid. And I like ice cream. The end.
