Zoey loves to color and for the longest time, we were letting her go to town with her markers, crayons and colored pencils on a sketch book I had bought her. But I wanted to be able to see her adorable masterpieces, so I created an art board for her.
It’s super-simple to do. All I did was take an old bulletin board I had and super-glued the letters onto the frame. The letters are chipboard that I covered with scrapbook paper because the original design on the letters was HIDEOUS. But they were on sale at Hobby Lobby–let that be a lesson to newbies in the scrapbooking/craft world–if you see chipboard letter packs on sale, but you hate the design, buy the packs and cover the letters with paper you like. All you need is scrapbook paper, adhesive and a craft knife to get into small corners.
This bulletin board now hangs in our kitchen so we can proudly display all of Zoey’s artwork.
